FCCNKC participates in Operation Inasmuch (OIM) every year since 2012. In a grand charity uprising of 80-120 volunteers in a single day, FCCNKC divides into eight to ten groups. Each group has a specific charity function which gives our volunteers choices of which best to use their talents. Past volunteer groups have been Habitat for Humanity, Heart-to-Heart International, and local community interests such as North Kansas City High School landscaping. For as Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” (Matt. 25:40)
Operation Inasmuch is a movement of churches across America, a Compassion Revolution which FCCNKC participates in. Over 1600 churches in 21 states have joined the Revolution. 405 of these churches reported that they collectively sent out more than 22,000 volunteers in 2011 to minister to 116,000 people in their communities, representing $3M in labor hours and material costs. Lives within and without our church have been forever changed thanks to this collaborative effort.
